Before I start, I know that there is a separate tread by MrRedstoneWolf(Click his name to check it out), so I am going to just 'copy and paste' somemost of the thread here. However, I'll be making some amendments to the FFMpeg installation part (just because it was not clear. Do you know I took 5 hours to find out how to install FFMpeg? 5 F***ING HOURS!)
How to install FFMpeg (Only of macintosh users)
You might be confused why I placed this first. The truth is, this method REQUIRES the Replay Mod to be installed LAST.
I took 5 F***ing hours to find this solution, so I'll share it with you guys, so that you wont have to look for 5 F***ing hours.
Here we go:
1. Install homebrew. You can find it here. OR if you are lazy, just copy and paste this code in a command prompt. /usr/bin/ruby -e '$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)'
2. Now you have to install XCode. You can install that from here.
3. Now open up XCode.
4. Open up the 'Xcode Preferences-Pane'.
5. Select the “Downloads”-Tab and click on “Install” next to the “Command Line Tools” entry.
6. After that's done, do brew doctor in a terminal prompt. This checks if your Homebrew installation was successful and installation of Formulas (Packages) will work.
7. Now we are ready to install FFMpeg. In the terminal prompt, type brew install ffmpeg --with-fdk-aac --with-ffplay --with-freetype --with-frei0r --with-libass --with-libvo-aacenc --with-libvorbis --with-libvpx --with-opencore-amr --with-openjpeg --with-opus --with-rtmpdump --with-schroedinger --with-speex --with-theora --with-tools
8. Play the waiting game (Not literally, I ment wait for it to finish)
After it has been installed, you can now install the other parts required for the installation of the Replay Mod.
And I'm going to quote (but I used the 'code' function) from the oringinal post by MrRedstoneWolf:
Because some people have problems installing the Replay Mod and the ffmpeg for Mac:
Forge Installation (All platforms)
If you haven't installed Forge:
1. You can download Forge here: http://files.minecraftforge.net/
2. Then double click the jar file.
3. Click on 'Install Client'
4. Click on 'Ok'
5. Open Minecraft
6. Run Minecraft
7. Close Minecraft
You're done! The Mods folder is now created in the Minecraft folder, you can find the folder by pressing: Shift + Command + G than type ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft (Now we're going to install the Replay Mod)
Replay Mod Installation (Only Mac)
When Forge already is installed:
1. Download the Replay Mod File
2. Go to the Minecraft folder and put the Replay Mod File in
3. Download the Java JDK file for Mac: JDK (IMPORTANT!)
4. Edit forge profile
5. Check: 'Executable'
6. Type: /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk1.8.0_51.jdk/Contents/Home/bin/java (jdk1.8.0_51.jdk is the version I downloaded, you'll need to replace this with the name of your file) (You can find more information here)
7. Save profile
8. Play and have fun! :D
Maybe you'll need Java 8 but I don't know if you really need that. If you want to download Java 8 (Or higher)you really need that. If you want to download Java 8 (Or higher)

So that's the end of MrRedstoneWoof's quote. As he did not specifically mention how to install FFMpeg (he just said If you want to render video's with the replay mod check out the Help page.), I'll told you my method.
If it helped, like this post!

Thanks for your post, although it has me wondering how it could take you 5 hours to find out you can use Homebrew to install FFmpeg, when I stated it in the docs exactly here.

I used this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oLxv7Km308&t=242s
it is in french i think but you can see what he's doing

FFmpeg is an astonishingly powerful open source command line tool for converting, streaming and recording audio and video.

That 'command line' will put many people off, and of course it does mean that the program is more difficult to use than a GUI converter. But don't let that put you off. Although FFmpeg requires a little work to learn, you can still get productive very quickly. Look at this:

ffmpeg -i video.avi video.mp4

As you can probably guess, the -i tells ffmpeg that video.avi is the input file, and it converts that and saves it to video.mp4. Need an MPG instead? Just specify video.mpg as the second file name. Using video.mp3 will extract only the soundtrack, or video.gif will save it as an animated GIF.

FFmpeg supports a vast number of formats, too, which is why it's the power behind many, perhaps most of the freeware conversion tools around (typically they're just front ends which allow you to specify a file, then pass the results to a local copy of ffmpeg.exe).

Of course this is only a fraction of what you need. There are a vast number of other commands to specify frames, resolutions, codecs, to define exactly how everything is processed, and that really can get complicated. But you don't have to use that, and even if you only ever learn -i, that's still probably enough to justify the download.

FFmpeg is the gold standard for media conversion, streaming and processing in general. It's console-based, but basic operations are easy, and if you're tired of the usual underpowered adware-packed freeware (many of which use FFmpeg under the hood anyway) then it's well worth a look.
